What to Wear: On a sunny day, our greenhouse can get pretty warm SO dress in layers & wear functional & comfortable shoes (tennis shoes, rain boots). Gardening gloves will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own!
Join us for a fun & interactive 2-hour workshop where you will learn to create a beautiful planter to accent your home! At this workshop, Mill Creek Gardens’ staff will offer great choices for sun & shade areas and share tips on how to keep your flowers blooming through fall. You will also learn about new flower varieties, the latest trends, & how to integrate them into your planter. You are welcome to bring your own pot and pots will also be available for purchase. The commercial grade slow-release fertilizer & pesticide (both included in cost of the workshop) will give your planter the jump-start & protection it needs to thrive through the season!
The cost of the workshop includes potting soil, slow-release fertilizer, pesticide, storage, care until warmer weather, expert instruction, & beverages. We recommend planter pick-up around Memorial Day – you’ll be amazed to see your beautiful, full planters! The cost of the workshop & plants will be due on the day of the workshop.
Our workshops fill up – sign up early! Please RSVP by the above dates to firstname.lastname@example.org. Simply clicking that you are “going” on this facebook event is not considered an official RSVP – be sure to email or call! 🙂
