Fall seems to creep up on me earlier and earlier every year. Can you relate?! By the time Erik and I get settled into our summer routine, the days get shorter, the nights cooler, and we realize it’s time to prepare ourselves for fall.
Fall is marked with so many memorable opportunities – harvesting & preserving produce from the garden, enjoying seasonal events like Maple Fall Fest, attending evening football games, picking apples & pumpkins, & decorating for a new season!
We hope that our collection of events at our greenhouse serves you and your family in making memories. Below are some highlights of family-friendly events we are hosting this September!
Houseplant Social: Plant & Learn – Sept. 7&8 – We all see those beautiful indoor plants on Instagram and Pinterest and think to ourselves, “Could I even keep that thing alive?!” This drop-in workshop is a great opportunity to talk about your lifestyle and what plants you can enjoy indoors (during the grueling winter) without fear of being a plant murderer!
Succulent Pumpkin Planter – Every weekend in September starting Sept 14 – Succulents & pumpkins make such a fun & cute combination. Any age can enjoy planting succulents on the top of a pumpkin to be enjoyed for many months to come! We’ve hosted this workshop for a number of years and folks keep asking for its return!
Kokedama Social: Indoor Hanging Planter – Sept 28&29 – This classic Japanese garden art is perfect for displaying indoors and will certainly be a conversation piece for guests in your home! Come, play in the mud, leave the mess at the greenhouse, & take a masterpiece home!
See you soon!
